Step 1

First, you will need to create a high resolution design that we can print on our Caponocca t-shirts (see selection criteria in step 4). This image will be 300 dpi or greater, and in PSD, AI, JPG, GIF, or .PNG format. Keep this image handy for now, we may ask you for this at a later time. Designs must be really cool; able to be printed in three (3) colors or less; and will be located on the front of the shirt. All artwork must be completely original and not appear on any other competition sites. For the full version of our contest rules click here.

Step 2

OK, so your design is ready. Now you need to upload two separate thumbnail images of it in order to enter the competition. First, upload a thumbnail version of your original design by itself. Then, you must upload the thumbnail version of your design as it is placed on a t-shirt template, so we can know exactly how and where you want the design to be on the shirt. You can upload both images in any of the following formats: JPG, GIF, or PNG.

Step 3

Our Internal Art Team will review all submissions and screen out designs that are inappropriate or need a bit more work. Assuming the design isn't vulgar or aesthetically lacking, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know we have accepted your design for competition. If we choose not to enter your design into competition, you can check out the reasons why in our Decline Reasons section. Awesome, thanks! The technical part of your job is done!

Step 4

Now it's time to share your design with the world. Promote it among family and friends on facebook, blogs, email, wherever. your design needs votes to win, so the more people you get to vote for it, the more your chances increase to win our weekly prize as well as having the honor of your design being printed and offered for sale in our shop.

Step 5

Yay! You win! Unless you don't . Each month the Caponocca Internal Art Team selects one winning design based on several factors including design community ranking, public comments and popularity, and our own internal favorites. If you win, congratulations on your grand prize of cash! All winning designs will be offered for sale on the site. But wait, there's more! Even if you don't win the juicy cash, your design may still be selected to be printed on tees and offered for sale to the public. Remember, all artists whose designs are selected to be printed and offered for sale will receive 10% of all sales of t-shirts with their design on it.

Step 6

Remember this is all about fun and community. So have fun! go ahead and check out other designs and vote for your favorites. Give some shout-outs to other designers. Yeah, you want to win, of course, but it's a lot more fun when others are rooting for you as well. So show some love, and you will be sure to get some back!
